Our Research, Development and Innovation team participates in a new European project, addressing the increasing occurrence of colorectal cancer (CRC) and its impact on lower socioeconomic status populations. By integrating multidisciplinary research methods, such as health policy analytics, social and behavioral science, AI-powered multi-omics, retrospective data analytics, and decision support theories, ONCODIR aims to revolutionize cancer prevention programs and introduce innovative AI-powered personalized prevention approaches.

Moreover, the project's outcomes will be validated through three Laboratory Integration Tests (LITs) and three Large-scale Intervention Pilots (LIPs) conducted in five EU member states.

The ONCODIR consortium comprises a diverse group of partners, bringing together complementary expertise from multidisciplinary research, technological advancements, and SSH domains. The carefully structured work plan of ONCODIR reflects a dedicated commitment to delivering feasible policy-supporting outcomes with significant potential for exploitation. The project is part of the Cancer Mission cluster of projects focusing on 'Prevention and early detection,' emphasizing its alignment with broader initiatives dedicated to combating cancer.

The ONCODIR project will have a 42-month duration, with a designated completion date 30th of November 2026.
