The RDI (Research, Development & Innovation) team of Uni Systems participated in the kick off meeting of the TRUSTFOOD project (“Advanced Digital Skills on Blockchain for Trusted Food Supply Chains”), held in Patras on the 7th and on the 8th of February 2023.

This European project aims to contribute to the development of advanced skills of the labor force in the Food Supply Chain (FSC), focusing particularly on SMEs. The courses that will be designed and implemented will provide a highly specialized tool for training, reflecting the latest developments in the Blockchain technologies as these are applied holistically to the FSC sector (owners, managers, and employees).

More specifically, with the cooperation of thirteen other European colleagues, coming from a diverse set of companies, organizations and esteemed universities, the project will deliver highly practical short-term training courses that will provide as specific as possible knowledge on Blockchain, focused on their applicability on FSC use cases. The courses will have different length, from one month to 6 months maximum. The project, already under way, will have a 36-month duration with a designated completion date the 31st of December 2025.
