75% of respondents admit their company is actively looking for new and innovative ways to support their daily operations.
Two out of ten companies are not satisfied with the possibilities of their existing payroll management system.

Almost one out of two enterprises in Greece, thus  46%, recognizes the advantages of a cloud-based environment, while more than one out of ten companies are already in search of a cloud-based payroll management solution.
These are the findings of a survey conducted by the Athens University of Economics and Business, regarding the adoption of new technologies by Human Resources executives in Greece.
According to the survey (run in autumn 2014 through online questionnaire, sent to HR professionals in 165 Greek companies), two out of ten enterprises demand more by their existing payroll management system.
“The survey results confirm our own perceptions of the Greek market. Businesses increasingly realize the operational and technological advantages of cloud computing”, commented Theodore Poulias, Uni Systems Business Solutions Department Manager.
"Easier access to information, increased productivity, lower operational and management costs and smooth cooperation between teams; these are all elements of a cloud -basedenvironment; while almost one in two HR executives in modern Greek enterprises has become familiar with the idea of an advanced technology solution for managing their daily tasks.”
The emerging trend of adopting cloud-based, HRMS and Payroll management solutions is supported largely by senior management. In a percentage of 75%, respondents admitted that their company is actively promoting new, innovative ways to support their operation.
"The enterprises in Greece have turned to a large extent to more flexible models for supporting their operations, in order to enhance efficiency and help reduce OPEX. In the process of adopting new technologies, the company's senior management has a key role to play. Three out of four enterprises declared that they support employees’ creativity and motivation by actively demonstrating their interest in more collaborative, creative and flexible management models. Towards these challenges, technology is a company’s greatest ally” said Theodore Poulias.
The survey results will be presented in detail by Ariana Polyviou, PhD Candidate at the Department of Management Science  & Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business, in an event organized by Uni Systems on Thursday March 26th, in Athens.
